    Mission Statement

We, the faith community of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, are called to celebrate the presence of Christ in Word, Sacrament, and Service. Washed in the Blood of Jesus and saved by His Grace, we pledge to love and forgive others as Our Lord has loved and forgiven us. We pledge to share our Catholic faith and extend to all we meet the mercy, compassion, and love of God.

    Who We Are

We are a Roman Catholic Parish and our Church is located 20 miles east of downtown Kansas City and 4 miles south of I-70 in the southern part of Blue Springs Missouri. There is a welcoming presence here in our faith community and we would love for you to experience worship with us at one of our Masses

The parish was established in 1983 and met for two years at other sites until the church and parish hall were built. When we were established we took on as our mission the story of the last judgment from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 25. Jesus said; “When you saw me thirsty, you gave me something to drink when I was hungry you gave me something to eat. When I was sick or in prison you came and visited me when I was a stranger, you welcomed me, when I was naked you clothed me.” And the people asked, “when did we see you thirsty, hungry, naked sick, or in prison or a stranger and ministered to your needs?” Jesus replied; “Whatever you did for the least of people, that you have done for me” We felt so strongly about this mission, that we had parts of the gospel engraved on our doors into the church and our stained glass window in the church is a visual of this Gospel passage.

Please come and worship with us and experience our faith in action. We hope you will find a church home with us and help us continue our outreach to our parish family and the communities we are a part of. If you have any questions about our church, about the Catholic Faith, about our ministries and areas of outreach, please do not hesitate to Contact Us
    God Bless
