Candlemas Day is another name for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, February 2, 2024. 
Forty days after His birth, Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to the temple for the rites of purification and dedication as prescribed by the Torah.
Parishioners are welcome to bring candles for your home that you would like blessed. Put them in a bag or box marked clearly with your name and Father Rocha will bless these candles on February 2 at the 8:00am Mass. You may bring them prior to February 2 to church, or the parish office and retrieve them
after Mass or pick them up later in the office.
